Orakei Korako – Te Ukaipo or the Birthplace of our iwi, Red Hills ancient burial sites, Tutukau Forest – one of the last remaining tracts of native bush and Mangatoetoe stream – all areas situated on the banks of the Waikato River and under threat.

This is the first of our wilding pine projects, these areas are of great cultural significance to our iwi. Our wilding pine project was based on Management Plans developed by Wildlands Consultants for 3 of our large iwi block's.
